Symbolic Dance: A Geometric Exploration of Joy and Movement

An Artistic Journey by Annemarie Ambrosoli

The artworks in this project were brought to life through the traditional technique of oil painting. Ambrosoli used brushes and oil colors on canvases stretched on wooden frames. Complementary colors, particularly the vibrant combination of orange and blue, are a recurring theme in her works.

Measuring 1000 x 20 x 800 mm, these oil paintings on linen are a testament to Ambrosoli's technical prowess and attention to detail. Each stroke of the brush contributes to the overall composition, resulting in a visual feast for the eyes.

Annemarie Ambrosoli embarked on this project in January 2020 and completed the final painting in February 2021. It took an additional eight months for the artworks to fully dry and be considered finished. Throughout the creative process, Ambrosoli drew inspiration from music, conversations, and the objects she encountered in her daily life. Her goal was to transform these inspirations into captivating tales painted on canvas.

Creating these artworks by hand presented its own set of challenges. Ambrosoli constantly strived to ensure her projects would resonate with potential customers. However, once she had a clear vision, the process of painting became a seamless and fulfilling endeavor.
